How do I assemble my Wickplants?

Watch the video "How Wickplants work" and the flyer in the packaging or see the step-by-step plan here:

Step 1. You fill the water reservoir to a certain height. This depends on the size of the grow pot (the blue/grey pot the plant is in). It should not stand in the water. Only the wicks should be in the water.
Step 2. Place the frame with hole(s) in the pot.
Step 3. Hang the Wickplant(s) in the holes of the frame.
Step 4. Hang the water meter in the smallest hole.
Step 5. Finish off the WickPlants with the included decorative stones!

How is it possible never have to water my plants again?

The Wick Way!
Wickplants ensures that you never have to water your Wick plant(s) again. All you have to do is top up the water reservoir when the water meter is down. The Wickplant does the rest by itself. The Wickplant(s) are fitted with a wick, which lies at the bottom of the water reservoir. This wick pulls the water into the Wickplant like a straw, when the Wickplant needs water. So you never water too much or too little again.

When should I refill my water reservoir?

The water reservoir must be refilled when the red bar on the water meter is between min. and max. The red bar of the water meter is on a styrofoam block, so the block goes down at that moment and the water reservoir is therefore also almost empty.

To where should I fill my water reservoir?

This depends on the size of the plant. A 180 cm plant has a larger pot, in which it is delivered, than a 30 cm plant. Make sure the pot the plant is delivered in, with the wick in it, is not under water. This pot should hang above the water and the wick hangs in the water up to and including the bottom of the water reservoir. 

How does the Personal Wickplants Shopper work?

Send a WhatsApp message to +31 6 15 30 02 02 to get in touch with your Personal Wickplants Shopper. Your Personal Wickplants Shopper will help you further with creating the right pot + wickplant combination for your space in your home/office! In addition, we fully understand if you want to see your XL plant first! When you ask for your XL plant via a WhatsApp message, your Personal Wickplants Shopper will send some pictures!

Where can I find information about my Wickplant?

Information about your Wickplant can be found on the website at the product itself. Should you not have found what you were looking for, one of our Personal Wickplants Shopper is ready to help you further. You can do this by sending a message via WhatsApp or by calling!

Can I put another ring in my pot later and switch from 1 plant to 5 small ones or vice versa?

This is certainly possible! All our accessories can be ordered separately. In your account, you will see the details of the pot you ordered earlier. For this size, you can order the corresponding accessories to switch to another ring. In the plant range, you can order new plants for the chosen frame!

Can I have my order delivered to a different delivery address?

This is possible! During the ordering process, you can enter the shipping address of the person you want to send Wickplants to! You can put the billing address on your own address, so that the recipient of the gift does not see the value of the order.

Can I collect my order somewhere?

It is possible to collect your order from one of PostNL's 4,000 collection points. There is always one near you!

Can I also have my order delivered abroad?

We currently ship our Wickplants in the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany and France. For shipment to other countries, we do not yet have a clear view on the conditions under which our products are delivered. Should you wish to receive your order in another country, we can look into the possibilities. To do so, please contact one of our Personal Wickplants Shopper by sending a WhatsApp message to +31 6 15 30 02 02 or email to [email protected].

How can I apply a discount code?

When you reach the payment of your order, you can enter the discount code. The discount will be automatically calculated in your order!

Can I pay by invoice or afterwards?

When completing payment, you will always receive an invoice to the e-mail address you have provided. If you would like to receive an invoice for your business, please contact one of our Wickplanters via e-mail to [email protected].

Post-payment is one of the payment methods offered by Wickplants.

Delivery & Quality
What are the shipping costs for my order?

Have you placed an order over €20? Then the shipping costs are free! The price you see for the plant is the total price you pay. This way, there will never be any surprises during the ordering process. For shipping to Belgium, we charge €4.95 (normally €9.80) for shipping costs. For shipping to other European countries, we charge €7.95.

When will my order be delivered?

Your order will be delivered as soon as possible. Wickplants aims for a delivery time of 1 - 7 working days. Wickplants naturally aims for the fastest possible delivery. If a product has a longer delivery time, this is always mentioned in the product description.

We make every effort to deliver your Wickplants on time. Occasionally, however, delivery may be delayed due to circumstances.

Can I have my order delivered to a different address?

This is possible! During the ordering process, you can enter the shipping address of the person you want to send Wickplants to! You can put the billing address on your own address, so the recipient of the gift will not see the value of the order.

How will my order be packed?

Plants are fragile products. Our Wickplants are not only grown with love, but also packed and shipped with care and attention. Our special plant packaging has been developed to ensure that the plant cannot move freely, allowing your order to be shipped safely. The pots are extra well protected in the packaging to ensure they remain in good condition!

Can I have my order delivered abroad?

We currently ship our Wickplants in the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany and France. For shipping to other countries, we do not yet have a good idea of the conditions under which our products are delivered. Should you wish to receive your order in another country, we can look into the possibilities. To do so, please contact one of our Personal Wickplants Shopper by sending a WhatsApp message to +31 6 15 30 02 02 or email to [email protected].

My Pot and/or Wickplant has arrived broken. What now?

Wickplants cannot be returned. Did you order something else (such as a pot or other accessories) and the item is still not completely to your liking? Unfortunately, that can happen. Wickplants offers you the option to return it within 14 days of the invoice date!

Occasionally, something can go wrong during transport. Is this the case? Please let us know as soon as possible! In this case we will always provide a suitable solution. You can contact our customer service at [email protected] (stating your order number). We would like to receive some photos of how the product arrived to you.

I received the wrong product. What should I do now?

You can contact our customer service at [email protected] (stating your order number). We would like to receive some photos of the product that was delivered incorrectly.

Guarantee & Returns
Can I return/return or revoke my order?

Wickplants cannot be returned. Have you ordered something else (such as a pot or other accessories) and the item is still not quite to your liking? That can unfortunately happen. Wickplants offers you the option of returning it within 14 days of the invoice date! You then only pay for the plants and return costs.

What are the return conditions?

- Returns can only be made within the stipulated return period of 14 days after the invoice date.
- The return costs incurred are for your own account.
- Both the costs and the risk of shipping are for your own account.
- Please return the items you wish to return in one shipment to ensure that the return can be processed as quickly as possible.
- Once we have received the returned products we will refund the amount.
- Without a Track & Trace code, missing returns will not be investigated. So please keep in mind that proof of shipment with the Track & Trace code is a requirement to qualify for the refund.
- Is your order not correct? We will resolve this for you as soon as possible! Please contact [email protected] or send a WhatsApp message to +31 6 15 30 02 02. Please include your name, order number and the items concerned. Then we can help you resolve it as soon as possible!

How can I return my order?
Follow the steps below to send your return correctly:
1. Pack the items you wish to return in their original packaging and include a letter with your order number. This way our Wickplanters know that the return is from you. 
2. Take your return to the nearest post office and have it sent to Wickplants' head office.

What are the return costs?

The cost for sending a letterbox parcel is from €4.50. The cost for shipping a normal parcel is from €6.75. Make sure you keep the track & trace code of your return shipment until it is processed at Wickplants!

What about right of withdrawal for plants?

Products with a limited shelf life (such as plants) cannot be revoked.

What is covered by the plant guarantee?

At Wickplants we offer a 3-month plant guarantee on green plants, flowering plants, such as orchids and anthuriums are excluded from this, if the water reservoir is topped up when needed and the Wickplants are placed in the correct position.

Do I have a guarantee on my purchase?

If the Wickplants arrive damaged, please contact Wickplants customer service immediately. Make sure you always include photos so we can look with you! After this, Wickplants customer service will provide the right solution to this problem!
