The Tradescantia Violet Hill prefers a place with plenty of daylight, where there is no direct sunlight. The lighter the houseplant is placed, the more purple the leaves become. Beware, however, that direct sunlight can burn the leaves. So make sure that the Tradescantia Violet Hill does not stand in direct sunlight. Should the leaves turn darker, the houseplant is in too dark a place. In fact, the leaves may become so dark that it almost turns black.
The Tradescantia Violet Hill is mildly poisonous. The sap from the stems of this houseplant can cause irritation. We do not recommend consuming this houseplant! Beware with small children and pets.
